Esther Rosa and a rose per day

she felt no hunger to dine today
she saw her mum weep for reasons in veil
she felt being ignored by her family all the way
but Esther Rosa for a rose on her bed today.

she went to the park to walk along,
she so loudly a silent song.
she smiled at the walkers, whose expressions didn't change,
but on the pavement Rosa found a rose in her way.

she picked the rose found at st peter's side of road
when she had come to the chapel in Decembers cold.
she went in their but remained unblessed,
and ignored again, she felt a pain untold.
but she found a rose on her way out side,
on the white was the red so bold!

half way back to home she remembered a service to do,
her visit to her late father was still due!
she turned around and made to the cemetery gate
she thought she might take some wild lilies too...
as she bent to the bushes for flowers to take
Esther Rosa found a rose lying there...

but the mystery did not end incomplete this time,
she felt this was the enigma was at its prime,
she reached into the bushes an felt a huge stone's face,
and she picked up from it the rose and saw her own etched name...

love's last present

though he had freed himself from all jobs,
he looked exhausted tonight,
they had fixed this meeting ages ago:
on the beach, they would dine in moonlight.

he had finally decided to reveal the secret,
the fact that in his hands, he had no time...
to do this heartbreaking job
he chose their dating-anniversary's night.

he wore a black suit,
white shirt and red tie.
he sprinkled over himself some perfume;
he knew so well what she liked!

they hadn't met for a whole month,
the month his sickness attained painful heights...
and here he was, the dying lover,
reconciling to part for the infinite...

he had a last look at his decaying self,
and set for the chilling moonlight.
he swore he would love her tonight as much
as he would, had he a longer life...

he waited for her for a couple of moments,
and there she was, dressed in satin white.
he held the chair for his beautiful maiden,
and gaped at his Moon under the moonlight...

she reached him and she made to sit,
he produced his hands to hold the other fine.
but wait! they were withdrawn by their owner!
for the first and the last time, his love was denied!

he noticed a stiff guilt on her face,
but she was bold enough to meet his eyes.
she said,"honey, before you say what you want to,
give me chance to speak for a while."

"it's true we have loved for a year today,
there is something from you i did hide;
i found my true love in someone else,
a month ago, he conquered my heart and mind".

and she went on about his love for her,
her love for that man so fine.
but the dying, wilting eyes noticed something else:
he saw, standing by his Moon, his decline...

he put his finger on her rose petal lips
he told her for a moment, to be quite.
he said,"i will love you forever, love...
and my love will last longer than my life..."

"i'll free you from my love forever,
but let me love you just tonight?!"
she stared for a moment, then nodded in agreement,
he embraced her and they walked on the oceans side...

they sat on a bench and admired their relation,
his heart was shattered, but strangely satisfied.
at the spur of emotions, he hugged and kissed her,
looked up to face the moon... strangely bright...
and then in his withered loves arms,
he closed his eyes, and died.

a verse added to the song "zindagi ke safar me guzar..."

zindagi k safar me guzar jate hai jo makaam...
wo fir nahi atey, wo fir nahi atey...

zakhm bhar jate hai,
dard mar jatey hai,
par jo yaad dilaye un sangdil palon ki
wo nishan sadiyo tak bhi mit-tey nahi
dekh kar wo nishaan yaad aye jo dard,
ghaow bhar jay, wo dard ghat-tey nahi
dard kam kar sakey wo pal beet jaye yaha,
wo fir nahi aatey, wo fir nahi aatey

and i rose above the dark...

there was this fall that rose me up
above the giant waves,
the waves that surrounded me
and it made me see my big mistake...

it made me see beyond my destiny
as fake as real i thought it to be.
though the hard way, but it made me see
a love beyond the love that was inside me,
a real destiny greater than that fake destiny,
a world that i could otherwise never see..

for you, my love

how much does it cost, your smile?
so that i may buy you a small pile,
and enjoy your beautiful curve for a while...
to see happiness in your eyes
will be like covering
a fulfilling journey of a thousand miles...
i love you...
